Apparel and lifestyle brand Cult Gaia, known for its artful collector pieces for the wardrobe, has expanded its lifestyle offerings into fine fragrances with the launch of three luxurious scents: Mast, Zan and Noor.

Each fragrance profile is inspired by a Farsi word that connects to founder and creative director, Jasmin Larian Hekmat’s Persian heritage, with the bottles themselves serving as their own objets d’art.

“The way I feel about great pieces, is the same way I feel about scent, it’s the fifth layer and enhances every moment,”Jasmin explained.

“The same way I want our customers to remember their life moments through our clothes and accessories is what I want them to have with our fragrances. An exclamation point to their core memories, now also enhanced by our fragrances. I love layering all three together.”

Each scent is a delicate balance of contrasts. Grounding elements such as rich woods and earthy resins evoke a sense of strength and stability while ethereal botanicals offer a gentle, airy escape.

This interplay of opposites mirrors the complexity of nature itself while creating an experience that is both grounding, liberating and embodies the ethos and the meaning of Gaia, which is that chaos is the most creative force there is.

The Intoxicating Notes of Cult Gaia’s Perfumes

Cult Gaia Mast is inspired by the Farsi term for ‘intoxicating ecstasy’. A journey of bliss. Cult Gaia Mast is the rush of sun ripened Italian bergamot and tropical coconut, anchored by the enchanting warmth of sweet Brazilian cumaru. The tang of orange blossom is grounded by Haitian vetiver and ambery forest notes. A velvety musk lingers on the skin. A feeling of euphoria.

Cult Gaia Zan is inspired by the Farsi word for ‘woman’. A force of nature, made in tribute to the goddess of mother earth, Gaia. Cult Gaia Zan awakens the spirit with notes of luminous white incense firabs, rich ambrox, and grounding sensual captive musks. Guatemalan cardamom, warm cedarwood and ambrette firabs intertwine adding subtle spice and earthy soul. Spicy pink pepper cuts through the softness, electrifying the air with its intensity. An exhilarating transformation.

Cult Gaia Noor is inspired by the Farsi word for ‘light’. The essence of the sun. Cult Gaia Noor bursts with a smoky black pepper from the island of Madagascar, teasing hints of French rose and the earthy essence of Haitian vetiver. Lavender’s calming embrace and geranium’s gentle spice introduce a wild whisper culminating in incense resin’s mystical warmth. A tantalising dance of light and shadow.

The bottles are inspired by circles, representing infinity, the earth and the sun – all core elements of Cult Gaia’s DNA. The arch shape is important to the brand’s ethos; two bottles joined together become a circle, with a space for light to shine through. Each cap on every bottle is different, creating a bespoke experience for each individual to uniquely interpret the fragrances.
